If you've read other sections of this website, you'll note a focus on Now Is My Time activities around group workshops, both in the USA and abroad. This is because I started the company with an emphasis on travel and the dynamics of a group setting.
However, as the success of Now Is My Time has spread, I kept hearing from women who couldn't take the time for a concentrated course, or didn't want or couldn't easily travel. I also found women who couldn't fit the workshop dates into their already too-busy schedules. Yet, all wanted to bring greater pleasure, control, and planning into their personal lives.
I also learned a certain percentage of women prefer to work alone, either for reasons of confidentiality, or perhaps a sense of shyness. Others are fast trackers: they want to focus directly on their own issues for quick results. Plus, they may have limited time slots for scheduling.
As a result, I started personal coaching via on-site meetings, phone, and email. Here's how it works: If you're convenient to Portland, Oregon we meet in my office. If not, you phone me at an agreed upon time for one-hour appointments.
Times are scheduled for weekly or twice a month appointments. Occasionally, meetings are even monthly when a heavy work schedule project deadline temporarily interferes with focusing on your Now Is My Time agenda.
In personal coaching, you'll find the same Now Is My Time benefits as described elsewhere on this website with one difference: all the emphasis, ideas, exercises, and strategies are selected specifically for you. Your needs, your preferences, your scheduling convenience, your work style, your best way of learning. You are the entire focus.
I encourage you to read the other sections of the website to gain the full flavor of what Now Is My Time is and everything it offers. I'll use the same tools with you as an individual to achieve the same life-changing results, as I do with my classes. So look at Are You Ready? and quotes from clients to see if the shoe fits your needs.
The format for one-on-one coaching is highly personal, but follows a program of:
- biographical orientation,
- discussion and identification of focus areas,
- setting realistic and quantifiable goals,
- ongoing strategy discussions and idea exchange,
- periodic assignments to achieve your goals, and
- rewards for achieving results.
Each session begins with a report on the previous week's progress, Q&A around any challenges you faced, followed by a discussion and strategies on the subject area we have selected for that week. You are encouraged to have a list of questions you'd like addressed. Periodically, I'll email you handouts, resources, and articles of interest relative to the work at hand. It goes without saying that all information you share with me is held in total confidence.
So, let's go! I don't know about you, but I'm not getting any younger! And once gardening season and pool time begin, I'll cut back on adding new clients. Living in the sun is part of my life plan that I've successfully incorporated for the past six years. What's your dream? Let's make it happen now.
